Partner
Sandra Jackson
Sandra Jackson is a member of the Sagkeeng First Nation. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a degree in Economics. Sandra has over thirty years of experience working in the areas of community, economic, institutional and self-governance development with First Nations.
Prior to venturing into the business sector Sandra held various positions with the Department of Indian Affairs. Her experience includes negotiating land claims, resettlement benefit agreements, multilateral funding arrangements and other business development agreements with governments and industry partners.
Sandra was the Federal Negotiator for the Northern Flood Agreement, and was instrumental in the successful negotiation of four implementation agreements involving Canada, Manitoba, Manitoba Hydro and the Tataskweyak Cree Nation, Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation, York Factory First Nation and Norway House Cree Nations. She was the Federal Negotiator for Self Government discussions that resulted in an agreement in principle among the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation, the Province of Manitoba and the Government of Canada in June 2000.
Sandra continues to work with First Nations, Aboriginal communities and organizations and governments and industry partners to establish relationships and create opportunities for employment, training and business development.
Sandra is a past chair of the Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce and has served as a member of the board of directors for Animikii Ozoson Child and Family Services. She is a member of the Industry Advisory Committee for First Peoples Development Inc.

Herbert Urton
Herbert has a long family history in the Duck Lake area of Saskatchewan. He has worked with First Nation communities in Saskatchewan 'breaking trail' on many community and economic development initiatives.
Herbert established himself as a successful promoter of Saskatchewan immigration, finance, and trade throughout China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. He co-founded and established Cheung On Investment in 1989. Cheung On, an international investor syndicate fund, quickly became a leading venture fund with assets in hospitality and other Saskatchewan based companies. He was founder and Senior Partner in Urton, Engle and Kook Associates Ltd., Tri-sec Group of Companies, and Inter West Ag. He is the President & CEO of Resortco Properties Inc. that has resort holdings in the Prince Albert National Park.
Herbert is a past member and past Chair of Finance on the Board of Directors of the National Ski Association, Cross-Country Ski Canada. He is a pilot with a solid understanding of the aviation industry. Herbert has a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from the University of Regina.
Herbert’s background in business development on the regional, national and international levels provides the company with a broad perspective on the challenges involved in fostering and growing a business. With his network of contacts in the service industry Herbert provides the foundation for logistics and planning.

Darryn Knibbs
Darryn Knibbs has extensive experience in the areas of finance and corporate development. He has successfully bought and sold numerous private companies through both private and public transactions.
Darryn was the founder of Inter West Ag Services Centers, which successfully consolidated a number of independent Ag Retail outlets, and was the founder of Inter West Ag Resources (the province’s first First Nations farming joint venture).
He is President of a private holding company with interests in Insurance, Real Estate, Finance, and Hospitality. He sits on various corporate boards.
Darryn is the President of Hoofman Kool Insurance. He holds a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker designation and has been active in the insurance business for the past eighteen years specializing in Commercial Insurance.
Over the past twenty-five years Darryn has worked in partnership with First Nations in Saskatchewan, in the insurance sector as well partnering on development projects.
Darryn is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan. He holds a degree in Commerce as well as a Certified Management Accountant designation and diplomas from the Insurance Institute of America Risk Management and Canadian Securities.
